Continuing our theme of bringing the best guest instruction to our CSP groups, we were honoured to have our good friend Brian Collier share his Sunday morning with us and deliver a simply awesome session of Greco

From standup clinch right through to ground work and finishes, Brian is wonderfully talented, incredibly knowledgable and an excellent teacher.

I know everyone in the session thoroughly enjoyed the class and had masses to take away with them.

For those who have signed up for the CSP Masterclass series this year, we were all treated to another fantastic session with the amazing Wayne Lakin.

This month's theme was Throw's and Takedowns, and Wayne was the perfect choice to add a touch of World Class Judo into the mix.

The class was wonderfully received by all attended and on behalf of myself, Lou and Mick, we'd just like to extend our thanks again to Wayne for his continued support with what we are doing here.

What a treat for the CSP crowd in June - not only did we have Michael Wright but also the amazing Mark Fry as our Guest Instructors.

A fantastic turnout to share a very educational and impressive 2 hour session delivered by our great friend Mark.

Mark was able to cover takedowns, positions, transitions and a few submissions.

Mark has now kindly agreed to become an Affiliate Instructor with us, so a huge thanks to Mark and welcome to the CSP family. x

I think I speak for everyone at the Sunday class when I say - WOW - what a fantastic lesson we all had from Michael Wright.

The turnout was amazing - and the effort everyone put in was first class.

A huge thanks to Lee for inviting myself and Mick Tully across to their fantastic club in Wales.

We both had a great day teaching some of the CSP material including clinch, takedowns, panantukan, pre-emptive striking.

It's always a pleasure to meet new people and have a class who are as enthusiastic and keen to learn different approaches to the martial arts and new techniques.

I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Ville and Henri for inviting me over to Finland to teach two seminars for their martial arts groups.

The welcome and hospitality I received was fantastic, and I hope I was able to deliver a fun and interesting couple of seminars in return.

A big thanks also to Tom for hosting me on the Sunday and all the guys and gals who attended the sessions, and especially to Henri for being my personal chauffer for the weekend and getting me to the airport on time.

I’m hoping to organise an event where I can bring Ville and Henri over to the UK to return the favour, so please watch this space later in the year.

Jim, pictured here Body-guarding Demi Moore, is one of our training partners and coaches at the amazing Terry Barnett’s class.

Jim was kind enough to share a Sunday morning with us and take our Coventry class through some of his fantastic drills and fighting concepts.

It was a pleasure to watch a superb martial artist offer his wealth of knowledge so eagerly and generously.
Jim is a rare talent who prefers to train than to teach - so we are all very thankful to him for offering to be our March Guest Instructor.
